A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Friday over the death of 35-year-old Johannes Mokhatu in Gobabis. The Namibian Police Force crime report issued on Sunday said the suspect and victim were drinking at the Kanaan A informal settlement in Epako, when an argument broke out between them. The suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed Mokhatu once in the back. He died on the spot.
