“No difference of opinion between Government and Swapo regarding AR”-Aochamub

State House Press Secretary has shot down reports that there is a difference of opinion between Government and Swapo Party when it comes to dealing with the Affirmative Repositioning movement. Albertus Aochamub says Government implements programmes as outlined in the ruling party’s manifesto and therefore does not distance itself from decisions taken by the party.

Cabinet has directed the Ministry of Higher Education, Training and Innovation to re-evaluate qualifications obtained from foreign institutions especially in engineering. Many engineering graduates and those with other technical related qualifications, who studied abroad remain unemployed because their qualifications have not been vetted and given the nod by the NQA.
