The 21,8 kilometer long Izimwe/Nakabolelwa road in the floodplains of the Kabbe South Constituency of the Zambezi Region has been completed. Some of the villages which will now be easily accessible were previously difficult to reach and during the flood season, totally inaccessible by road.

The Husab Uranium Mine in the Erongo region has donated 200 000 dollars to help Namibians who are affected by drought. This is however still a far cry from government’s target of raising more than 600 million dollars for drought relief interventions for 2016/17.
