Khorixas Constituency Councillor donates grass bales to farmers

The Councillor for the Khorixas Constituency in the Kunene region Elias Xoagub has donated grass bales worth more than 50 000 dollars as his contribution towards assisting farmers in the area. The Kunene region has for the past six years been declared a drought stricken area with Khorixas being one of the worst affected areas.

Swakopmund Seconday School celebrates 40th anniversary

The Swakopmund Secondary School in the Erongo region wants to maintain a 60% pass rate in 2016’s grade 10 and 12 final examinations. Struggle kid hit by a car

A child of the liberation struggle died after being hit by a car on Friday night outside Windhoek. Police say commotion erupted shortly after the deadly incident which forced the driver to flee from the scene.

The Keetmanshoop show society launched the 61 edition of the annual Keetmanshoop Agricultural and Industrial show in style at the southern town. The Mayor of Keetmanshoop Municipality Gaudentia Khrone used the opportunity to thank the Keetmanshoop community and encourage visitors to come in numbers to support the exhibitors.
