Martin Luther High School learners thank Dr Dieter Poschardt for assistance to the school

Martin Luther High School held a thanks giving ceremony for the assistance the school received from Dr Dieter Poschardt to build an additional classroom and the renovation of the school. The school which is located seven Kilometers outside Okombahe with 242 learners welcomed the German philanthropist with traditional dances.

A suspected copper wire thief electrocuted

A man was electrocuted while on an electric pole stealing copper wire in the Elisenheim area on Wednesday. According to the City police Public Relations Officer the charred body of the man was found next to the electric pole.

South African business people to receive multiple entry visas in Namibia

South African business people will receive multiple entry visas upon arrival in Namibia with minimal hassle. President Hage Geingob made the announcement during the official launch of the ‘invest in Namibia conference’ in Johannesburg, South Africa on Thursday. The launch is part of government’s plan to promote the conference slated for November in Windhoek.
