Residents of Block E informal settlement at Rehoboth want the town council to build them proper toilets. They charged that 26 years after independence they still do not have proper sanitation facilities in the area.

The 2016 //Karas Regional Youth Development seminar started in Keetmanshoop on Monday with 70 participants from seven constituencies in the region taking part in the one-week event, under the theme “Putting Youth at the Heart of Development”.

Male students are outnumbered by females at Institutes of Higher Education. This represents more than 63% of female students enrolled at Institutions of Higher learning compared to 37% male.
