Chief Eduard Afrikaner was coronated as chief of the Afrikaaner tribe at the Kohareb settlement in the Gibeon constituency, succeeding the late chief Hendrina Afrikaner. It was a Joyous day for the Afrikaner tribe as their new leader was coronated, following the death of Chief Hendrina Afrikaner in 2011.

First Lady Monica Geingos says more interaction is needed between the youth and adults, to deal with the issues affecting society. She was speaking at the ‘Be Free movement’ event held in Windhoek on Saturday.
