Aroab Small Farmers Association’s meeting with //Karas Regional Governor fruitful

The Aroab Small Farmers Association has described its meeting with //Karas Regional Governor Lucia Basson as promising and fruitful. Chairperson Andrew De Juy revealed that the Governor advised them to leave farm Dickbusch, which they illegally occupied in October, and apply for resettlement on other farms that the government may buy in future.

Long serving former Permanent Secretary Ulitala Hiveluah laid to rest

Long serving former Permanent Secretary and former freedom fighter Ulitala Hiveluah has been laid to rest at Odibo village in the Ohangwena. Hivelua died in a horrific car accident that claimed six lives between Okahandja and Otjiwarongo last week. She died at the age of 64.
