Babies will now be instantly registered on E-Birth system

Babies will now be registered electronically at hospitals as soon as they are born, following the launch of the new electronic birth notification system. The E-Birth system is linked to the National Population Registration System to verify the identity of the mother as soon as the baby is born at the hospital.
