Second police station could soon open at Keetmanshoop

The second police station could soon open its doors at Keetmanshoop in the //Karas Region, depending on the availability of funds. Keetmanshoop has one police station serving close to 30 000 inhabitants, including surrounding farms.

Deputy of Minister Works and Transport James Sankwasa has lashed out at the Namibia Airports Company over poor infrastructure at the Rundu Airport . Sankwasa described the Rundu airport as well as other northern airports as security risks.

Air Namibia apologises for barring person with disability from boarding flight

Air Namibia has issued a public apology, following a person with disability, having been barred from boarding a flight. The matter stems from an incident last Thursday, when a 16-year-old girl was prevented from boarding an Air Namibia flight from Walvis Bay to Windhoek, for being wheelchair bound.
