The Minister of Urban and Rural Development Sophia Shaningwa has ordered the suspension of erecting illegal structures at Groot-Aub settlement outside Windhoek. This follows the continuous illegal land sales as well as the increase of makeshift structures on plots serviced for other purposes, such as schools and clinics.

-Some Groot-Aub residents expressed outrage after Urban and Rural Development Minister, Sophia Shaningwa did not respond to some of their concerns during a meeting.

NBC’s National Radio launched a new Show that will broadcast Portuguese language. The show is a partnership between NBC and the National Radio Broadcaster of Angola. ‘Ta Fixe’ show was introduced to cater for Angolan Nationals living in or visiting Namibia.
