The Nelson Mandela Foundation together with ex-prisoner Association of South Africa joined Namibians in paying tribute to late Herman Andimba Toivo Ya Toivo. A memorial service was held in Johannesburg in honour of Namibia’s icon of the liberation struggle.
Namibians gathered at Dr Romanus Kampungu Secondary hall, at Rundu, to pay homage to Andimba Toivo ya Toivo. Rector of the SWAPO Party School and former Deputy-Prime Minister, Marco Hausiku addressed the attendees.
