Safety an afterthought in road design

In most cases, safety precautions are not taken into consideration in the design and engineering of roads in Africa, and Namibian roads are not an exception. The vice president of the International Road Federation Global, Michael Dreznes made the observation during a workshop on Road Safety, being held under the theme Safer Roads by Design.
