President Hage Geingob has called for unity in the party to address the challenges facing Namibia. Geingob was speaking at the opening of the party’s Central Committee meeting in Windhoek.

President Hage Geingob has described the late retired Brigadier-General Erasmus Kayambu Amupolo as a gallant freedom fighter who contributed immensely to the liberation struggle. The late Amupolo was buried at Elim cemetery in the Omusati Region.
