The large extinct volcano, Brukaros, 100km north west of Keetmanshoop has the potential to contribute significantly towards tourism in the region. In an effort to revamp activities at the Brukaros campsite, the /Hai /Khaua traditional authority organised mountain hiking, where young and old, challenge the 1 590m high Brukaros mountain.
