The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) has appointed its company secretary, Charity Mwiya, as its acting chief executive officer. This comes in the wake of the resignation of former CEO, Tarah Shaanika, who resigned in search of greener pastures.

The Deputy Minister of Gender Equality and Child Welfare, Lucia Witbooi says there is a need for stronger advocacy on the importance of Early Childhood Development at local, regional and national levels. She made the remarks at the inauguration of an Early Childhood Centre called ‘Little Teddy Bear Kindergarten’ at Gobabis.
