The ongoing campaign to bring traffic regulation violators to book bearing fruit. So far, N$900 000 were collected in traffic fines within a space of one week. A total of 843 fines were issued since the 27 November 2017.

David Nuyoma has been reappointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Government institutions Pension Fund for another five year term. Nuyoma has been at the helm of the institution since January 2013 and saw the fund through a rough era of the infamous Development Capital Portfolio.

Several long distance minibuses were ordered to offload at roadblocks in the Zambezi Region due to overloading. Residents of Orushuuma village in Kunene region have commended health extension workers for their role in educating community members on health related matters.
