Otjozondjupa Regional electricity distributor, Cenored, has donated bicycles, helmets and cool drinks to the Police at Otjiwarongo. The donation is aimed at assisting police stations at different towns of the region in efforts to fight against crime and maintain peace and order.

The Eros Girls School hostel will not be open in time for the first school term next year. The school is thus not looking to take onboard any learners requiring accommodation in 2018.

Seven-seater bus drivers without valid transportation permits, are warned to stop loading passengers illegally. The warning was issued after most of the seven-seater drivers operating on public roads, failed to produce licences to carry passengers, when confronted by the police at roadblocks countrywide.

The NBC TV licence inspection team have extended their operations to the towns of Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. The two day operation kicked off on Tuesday at Walvis Bay with licence inspectors visiting accommodation establishments, and other companies, to check on unpaid TV licences.
