Residents of Groot Aub settlement, south of Windhoek are disappointed with the City of Windhoek’s decision to re-evaluate plots. The community was summoned to a meeting in November, where they were reportedly told to buy the plots they reside on, or face eviction.

The Office of the First Lady has warned the public against people who would use her name or office to commit fraudulent activities, even while her office is closed. The Office of the First Lady will be closed over the festive season, between 18 December until 5 January 2018.
