International Women’s Day was also commemorated at Windhoek’s Mix Settlement. Women from different walks of life gathered at Mix settlement to celebrate the day. Speakers reminded women of the pivotal role they play in their communities.

The Namibian Institute of Public Administration and Management, (NIPAM) is racing against time to transform the public service as envisaged in the Harambee Prosperity Plan. In this regard, NIPAM signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Namibia Standards Institution (NSI) to scale up training for public and civil servants.
