Over one hundred newly graduates of the Institute Of Banking are urged to fill the gap of critical skills in the financial sector.

Residents at Katima Mulilo who protested over the council’s decision to switch to the pre-paid water system walked out of a meeting with regional leadership. The protesters previously demanded answers within 48 hours from the Council.

Deputy Prime Minister Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah told Namibians not to take part in corrupt practices. She also called on the youth to take a lead in the economic development of the country. Nandi-Ndaitwah was speaking at the 58th Swapo-party birthday belated celebration at the Ondera farm in the Oshikoto region.
