The Windhoek railway station’s look has not changed since its construction in 1929. Speaking to NBC, TransNamib Public Relations Officer Ailly Hangula said the building is dilapidated due to financial constraints.

Over 160 pensioners are expected to undergo eye sight restoration surgery at the Rundu State Hospital by the end of this week. A team of eight Chinese health professionals are on an eye camp at the hospital together with Namibia’s eye specialist Dr. Helena Ndume.
