Government has reiterated its commitment to working closely with the United Nations High Commission of Refugees (UNHCR) to facilitate the return of refugees to their countries of origin. Village councils in the //Karas Region have turned to income generating projects to boost their coffers. Bethanie, Berseba, Aroab and Koes are engaged in livestock farming.
