11 GBV cases recorded this past weekend

NamPol has recorded 11 cases of gender-based violence (GBV) over the past weekend. These range from rape, attempted murder and assault. Ten suspects were arrested of which four are police officers. NamPol believes more people are now reporting cases following last week’s incident where a police officer murdered his ex-girlfriend.
