SA truck driver’s plea for acquittal of rape and murder charges dismissed

High Court Judge Naomi Shivute has dismissed a plea by a South African truck driver to be acquitted of charges in which he is accused of raping and murdering a woman by strangulation, four years ago. Willem Wimpie Februarie allegedly murdered Windhoek resident Dinah Diedericks at her home in Windhoek West.
