Vice President dispels perceptions that Olufuko festival is unchristian

Vice President Nangolo Mbumba has dispelled perceptions by some that cultures and traditions such as Olufuko are unchristian and morally wrong. Speaking during the official opening of Olufuko festival, Mbumba says many people are criticising Olufuko claiming that it is promoting child marriage and immoral behaviour.

Namibian delegation in Germany to receive human remains on Wednesday

The Namibian government says it appreciates the German government’s agreeing, for the first time, to a state-to-state handover of human remains belonging to Namibians. In 2011, German scientists also handed over 20 skulls of Namibians people who died in a colonial concentration camp more than 100 years ago.
