Taxi operators are expressing mixed feelings over a 20% increase in taxi fares introduced today, bringing the fee from N$10 to N$12.

The Namibia Institute of Pathology’s (NIP) Chief Executive Officer Augustinus Katiti is dismissed. A letter seen by NBC states that Katiti’s contract was terminated on 30 August during a Board of Directors meeting.
