The bill aims to promote and protect the rights of learners, to provide for the establishment of the National Advisory Council for Education as well as the regional education forum.

Fisheries Ministry wants to strengthen cross border participation of fish resource management

The Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources, wants communities in the Kavango Zambezi Trans-frontier Conservation area, to strengthen cross border participation of fish resource management. The Permanent Secretary, Dr Moses Maurihungirire made the call during the opening of the Fisheries Regional Stakeholders meeting at Katima Mulilo in the Zambezi Region.

China to set up greenhouses at Divundu, Mayara

China plans to set up greenhouses at Divundu and Mayara in Kavango East and West respectively. This all to encourage the youth to take up gardening. Ambassador Zhang Yiming revealed this during the handover ceremony of the Ambassador’s Scholarships Programme at Rundu.
