Government will consider a request by Japan for Namibia to support its bid to host the World Expo. Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s Special Envoy, Yoshifumi Okamura, delivered the request to President Hage Geingob at State House on Tuesday.
The Kunene transboundary water supply project between Namibia and Angola has been inaugurated. Namibia and Angola share rivers and the two countries hope the inauguration of the project would address distribution to the inhabitants along the common border.
