Only three doctors for all prisoners in Namibia

There are currently only three medical doctors to serve the country’s 13 correctional facilities. The Namibia Correctional Service is worried this may negatively impact on its operations in the long run. They started experiencing a shortage of medical doctors after the Office of the Prime Minister stopped allocating them with professional allowances.
