Okahandja Municipality cancels eight cleaning contracts

Due to a lack of funds the Okahandja Municipality has cancelled the contracts of eight cleaning companies last November. The cleaning providers were ushered in in March 2017 to remove heaps of dirt scattered across the town, at a cost of N$300 000 monthly.

Medication containing codeine now require prescription

Last year various countries, including Nigeria, placed a ban on the production and import of medication containing codeine, specifically cough syrup. Namibia was not left behind as the drug is now tightly controlled.

CoW refuses to connect Saamstaan members to individual prepaid water meters
