The Administration of Estates Amendment Bill introduced in the National Assembly came under heavy criticism, with some describing the proposed amendments to the current Act “unnecessary”. However, Justice Minister Sackey Shangala maintained the amendments are necessary to ensure that all intended beneficiaries are catered for in the inheritance of their deceased parents.
