Two people died of suspected food poisoning in the Rundu State Hospital. The deceased, 20-year-old Hausiku Hainwa and 10-year-old Hiltrude Mbathera allegedly ate dinner with their family on Saturday.

Namibia and Zimbabwe want to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of citizens of both countries. Both countries’ ministers responsible for international relations shared this view at a ministers’ meeting of the Namibia-Zimbabwe Joint Commission of Cooperation, in Windhoek.

The Namibia and Zimbabwe Joint Commission of Cooperation meeting deliberated on key sectors such as infrastructure, health, education, transport, energy, trade and tourism, environment as well as legal and diplomatic consultations. Other areas included sports, ICT, youth, women, mining and finance.
Zimbabwean President, Emerson Mnangagwa has arrived in Namibia for a three-day state visit.
