The Kavango West Regional Council has again expressed dismay at the lack of feeder roads saying not a single road construction project has been budgeted for in the current financial period for the area. The Council said this during a meeting with the Roads Authority company at Nkurenkuru.

Empowering young people to engage in the agricultural sector would create opportunities for achieving food security and stimulating economic growth. However, the provision of financial services to the youth to participate in this sector remains a challenge.

More still needs to be done to get the youth involved in the agricultural sector. These were the sentiments shared by various speakers at the Agri 4 Youth conference in Windhoek.
