Founding President Sam Nujoma described the late President Robert Mugabe as a great freedom fighter who made a significant contribution towards total political emancipation of the African continent. Nujoma says Mugabe’s fight for liberation came at a tough time when oppressors vowed that Africa’s freedom would not be attained during his lifetime.

Thirteen people died late Friday afternoon when a minibus carrying 42 occupants overturned near Kalkfeld. It is alleged that the driver lost control after a tyre burst.
