Today is International Sign Language Day and the Moreson Special School in Khomasdal celebrated it with poetry, arts performances and learning about human rights. The Moreson Special School is one of a few institutions catering for learners who are visually, cognitively and hearing impaired.

The Otjikaoko Traditional Authority has appointed retired school principal Undjizuva Tjakuva as a senior traditional councillor. Tjakuva succeeded his late father Sam Tjakuva who has led Otjikaoko people from 1975 to 1995.

The City of Windhoek is calling for public cooperation with its data collectors, who are conducting the city’s 2019 Community Risk Assessment.
