Gaob Justus //Garoeb has dismissed rumours he is planning to join SWAPO. //Garoeb, who was seen at the party’s headquarters, says he only went there to make an appointment with President Hage Geingob and Founding President Sam Nujoma through the party’s Secretary-General Sophia Shaningwa.

Small scale farmers in the Kavango East and West regions have welcomed the lifting of the ban on the transportation and marketing of already harvested timber.
