Most political parties that received funding from Government have failed to account for close to N$400 million over the past 16 years. This is contained in a report released by the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR), titled political parties’ funding.

The Director-General of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Paulus Noa revealed that the commission has been investigating allegations of fishing briberies. Following media reports and circulating video clips alleged to be linked to a corruption scandal, Bernhard Esau, Sacky Shangala and James Hatuikulipia, Noa says the ACC has been investigating the case since 2014.

All 34 Namibian diplomatic missions voted in the Presidential and National Assembly elections today.
