In his address during the opening of the first Cabinet meeting for the year, President Hage Geingob warned against the instigation of civil unrest, which he said has the potential to reverse gains achieved in the country’s socio-economic development.
Ministers in the next Cabinet will be expected to declare their assets publicly. President Hage Geingob said this at the opening of the first Cabinet meeting for the year. He reiterated that the move is meant to promote greater transparency and trust in public office bearers.
