NBC’s financial problems far from over – Simataa

Minister of Information and Communication Technology (MICT), Stanley Simataa says the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation’s (NBC) financial problems are far from over. Simataa was responding to a question from PDM’s Jan van Wyk, who wanted to know when normal broadcasting, including coverage of Parliament, would resume. Today’s proceedings also concluded business for Namibia’s sixth Parliament.

Third COVID-19 case confirmed in Namibia

Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) confirmed a third case of COVID-19. A 61-year-old German citizen, who arrived in Namibia on 13 March, remains in isolation and is in stable condition. The MoHSS said it is actively following up with all contacts of this person to ensure proper quarantine and monitoring for symptoms.
