Visiting leaders want SADC to develop joint COVID-19 strategy

SADC leaders who witnessed the inauguration of President Hage Geingob want the region to develop joint strategies to fight COVID-19. The leaders include Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa, President Mokgweetsi Masisi of Botswana and Angolan President Joao Lourenco. South Africa and Zambia were represented by foreign affairs ministers, while resident diplomats represented their heads of state.

President Geingob inaugurated for second term

President Hage Geingob was inaugurated for his second five-year term as Namibia’s President at State House. The event coincided with Namibia’s 30th Independence anniversary.
