SADC leaders who witnessed the inauguration of President Hage Geingob want the region to develop joint strategies to fight COVID-19. The leaders include Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa, President Mokgweetsi Masisi of Botswana and Angolan President Joao Lourenco. South Africa and Zambia were represented by foreign affairs ministers, while resident diplomats represented their heads of state.

The Bank of Namibia (BoN) has released a Limited edition of a N$30 commemorative banknote for Namibia’s 30th Independence anniversary. The bank has in the past issued commemorative coins, however, this is the the first time the bank releases a note.
