NAMAs postponed indefinitely

The Namibian Annual Music Awards has been postponed indefinitely. The awards ceremony was slated for 2 May. Tim Ekandjo, awards executive, in a short statement, explained that a new date for the awards will be announced once the extended lockdown has been lifted. He further urged all artist to adhere to the lockdown regulations.

Government extends lockdown until 4 May

Government has extended the current lockdown of the Khomas and Erongo Regions, to 4 May. The movement of people in the rest of the country will also be under strict control over the same period.
