The Ministry of Finance has reiterated its call for those who have not received their N$750 grant to remain patient. The due date for applications is today at midnight but the ministry says the verification process will continue.
Namibia will, as from Tuesday, enter stage two of the state of emergency, declared to prevent the spread of COVID-19. President Hage Geingob made the announcement following a Cabinet review on the status of COVID-19 in the country. The current countrywide lockdown will lapse at midnight on Monday, with stage two starting on Tuesday.
