Namibia to host international conference to promote tourism across Africa

Namibia has been chosen to host an international conference to promote tourism across Africa, next year. This was revealed by the UN World Tourism Organisation’s Secretary-General, Zurab Pololikashvili to Vice-President Nangolo Mbumba at State House. The international conference is expected to strengthen stakeholder initiatives to help the industry mitigate the impact of COVID-19.

Windhoek City Museum inaugurated

The Windhoek City Museum, reflecting the historical activities of the city, was opened today. The museum will portray the formation of Windhoek from its initial inhabitants, to the German rule with its policy of racial segregation, and the establishment of the then Old Location. Founding President Sam Nujoma officially opened the museum.
