Twenty-one young Namibians are on their way to represent the country in former U.S president Barack Obama’s flagship young African leaders Initiative. The 2017 Mandela Washington Fellowship brings together at least 1000 young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa, in the United States with the aim of empowering them through leadership training, academic coursework and networking.
