Nkurenkuru’s Chief Executive Officer Petrus Sindimba warned that all those who the council allocated land yet remain undeveloped, risk losing such plots if they fail to develop them by March this year. Nkurenkuru is a fast-growing town which was proclaimed as the Kavango West regional capital in 2016. It was declared a town in 2013 after the Kavango Region was divided into two regions. However, the town is still faced with many challenges that hamper development and nothing has happened as most of the allocated plots remain undeveloped.
