Former NDF chief retired Major-General Peter Nambundunga was buried at Omugulugwombashe Memorial Shrine in the Omusati Region. Nambundunga died on 14 January at the Ongwediva Medipark Hospital from a stroke. President Hage Geingob led family, friends and comrades to the Omugulugwombashe Memorial shrine as they bade farewell to the former soldier.
