Musese Constituency Councillor Sakeus Kudumo has called on the Ministries’ of Environment and Tourism and Agriculture to find a lasting solution to the marauding elephants in the Kavango West Region. A herd of about 60 elephants entered the Musese Irrigation Project on Friday and caused severe damages to crops. It is estimated that about 50 hectares of maize have been destroyed by the large mammals in two separate incidents since December.
