The Government says it would have been unfair to deny Egypt the rotating AU chairmanship position over claims by lobby groups. The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says isolating Egypt while it is solving its internal problems would have created problems for the African Union.
