The police in the Kavango West Region are seeking public assistance in identifying the remains of a man who was found in a bush at Mbeyo village along the Trans-Zambezi Highway on Wednesday. The man was wearing a denim jacket, shoes and a wrist-watch. Cattle herders discovered the decomposed body when their dogs circled the bush where the body was concealed. Regional Police Commander Josephat Abel says an inquest docket has been opened pending forensic results and positive identification. Commissioner Abel says there was no missing person report filed in the region; thus asked community members who are missing a male relative to approach the Rundu Mortuary for identification.
